Join the Tidewater Striders Running Club

  • If you are already a runner, why would you want to join a club?

  • If you are thinking about running, why would you want to join a club of racing maniacs?

  • If your kid runs and you don't, how do you handle that?

  • If you need a mentor or a coach, should you just go to a physical trainer or a gym?

Resolution 5K

First of all - Tidewater Striders Club isn't just for runners, they train for triathlons, walks, races, and marathons. Sometimes they run together and there are always training opportunities. They train each other. They mentor less experienced runners. They motivate each other. They encourage each other. They push. They encourage each other, when a friend's knees or hips are giving out. And (perhaps best of all), they raise money for college scholarships with several races per year. This year, alone, over $27,000 was awarded! They coach kids to train and to learn to push themselves. They coach and encourage children with special needs as part of the programming. Tidewater Striders CARE. They care about the environment (Adopt-a-Trail, Adopt-a-Highway); they care about the #Youth; they care about #POWER; they care about pulling someone along or pushing someone past them. It isn't just a CLUB of exclusivity - it is a club of inclusivity. Join the Striders!
