Seasons of Williamsburg closes after 25 years

Seasons of Williamsburg and Stephano's Pizza & Subs of Williamsburg, Virginia have closed their doors, forever. After 25 years of serving the community and tourism industry, they have rolled up their carpet. The tourism industry in general has taken a beating in the last 3 years, and especially Colonial Williamsburg. Each year the middle management shrinks and each season the season gets shorter and the crowds get smaller. Even with the addition of Good Neighbor Pass ($10 pass, for the entire year, for residents), the locals don't support the museums of Williamsburg. It was just the writing in the wall, says Geri Dokos, the owner of Seasons and Stephano's. They are taking all the all furniture, fixtures, equipment and small wares with them and are looking to be a silent partner for another restaurant owner. Geri and her husband Kurt Rosell will be opening a Bed & Breakfast on a 250 acre farm, near Wintergreen Ski Resort. Boasting panoramic views of the mountains, farm to table dining, fishing, hiking, horses and snow mobiles - this B&B promises to have it all. And their claim to fame will be event hosting. They will be hosting weddings in their beautiful barn, music festivals on the grounds and plan on being operational by fall 2017.

Rose Mill Manor is only 20 minutes from the Wintergreen Ski Resort, Crabtree Falls and Natural Bridge.
