I started working with Scott's Addition Boulevard Association a little more than a year ago - it was an up-and-coming neighborhood in Richmond. I bought HIGH in an up-and-coming neighborhood a decade ago and I still don't want to talk about that purchase or the cause of every argument my husband and I ever had :-)

Scott's Addition IS an up-and-coming neighborhood in Richmond. And the hits keep on coming. This neighborhood keeps growing and growing - nearby neighborhoods are calling themselves the "fringe" as they so badly want to be associated with Scott's Addition. What I find so FASCINATING about the area is WHY they are growing and growing and so sought after: the cutting edge upstarts and the adult beverages! Truly fascinating. Electric car charging companies, Uber spinoffs, smoothie-bar like wine pours, micro-bowling alley, roof-top parties and venues, breweries, festivals, cideries and even a meadery. And fabulous food and sprinkle in the middle of all of that - several cultural venues - museums and baseball diamond. Then, add to this recipe future tax abatements - THIS is a winning combination.
