From one small business, to another: I have really enjoyed the relationships that I have built with SCORE counselors. Each has mentored, in his own way, my own small business and the businesses around me. I have seen these counselors at work, either at a seminar that they hold, quarterly, on Saturdays or with email introductions.
These counselors have all had small businesses and between them have years and years of experience and ideas and safety nets and risk management strategy. They simply KNOW how to succeed. They know when to push through and when to bail. They are true mentors because they want the business to succeed. They do what they do because they want to give back and they want others to succeed where they failed and where they have seen others fail.
I am proud to have used SCORE, taught seminars for SCORE and have referred countless small businesses in Williamsburg to use the FREE, confidential business counseling.
