BE the customer to get more customers

When you think like a buyer, you can sell more of what you sell. You know your business and your product - in fact, nobody knows your business like you do. Don't explain your business in a way that makes sense to YOU or someone in your industry - look at your business through your prospect's eyes. This can help you improve the way you present yourself and your services and can, therefore, help boost sales.

Approach Your Profiles and Description frm a Different Perspective - Think about what kind of advertising that you are drawn to. Think about what attracted you to your current hairdresser or plumber. What caught your eye and made you choose them? Was it a well-shot photo that gave you confidence in the person you’d be working with? Or perhaps it was a list of qualifications or certifications? Make sure that your profile includes those elements.

Expert Skills Require Easy Explanations - Does your description make perfect sense to someone in your industry? How about to somebody without any experience at all in your field? You might be alienating most of your potential customers if you cannot break down what you are selling into simple language with clear, understandable parts

Make Your Portfolio ‘Picture Perfect’ - Look at the photos that you post on your timeline, on Facebook. Are they all shares? Or are most of them original content (some of it branded). Prospects browse your pictures to see what sets you apart, what your style is, and to get an idea of what kind of product they would receive if they choose to work with you.

Your Extras Should Be Complementary - Offering extras is one of the smartest ways that you can have happier customers. BUT, there has to be a way to upsell your current customers. Are the Extras and Add-On's useful and irresistible? These give your Buyer convenience and customization.

Be the Buyer - Get out of your own head and into the mind of a buyer to address the issues that most concern buyers, and present yourself in a way that they can relate to, they’re more likely to understand who you are and what you offer that is different and unique.
