We found Dr. Bobby when we had our first child. We have met all the doctors, now, at Peninsula Pediatric Dentistry, and the children love all three offices, doctors, and technicians. The dental practice is all about children and their families. Best of all, they encourage children to enjoy the dentist and look forward to going back! And mine do!
The waiting area is fun
It is quite commonplace for pediatric offices to have small chairs and a television. Even a couple books strewn about. For good reason - this has a great effect on little people. They feel like it is THEIR place and specially created for them. If you just go to a regular dentist and not a pediatric dentist, this will not be the case. At Peninsula Pediatric Dentistry, getting them to walk through the door, getting excited about the coloring page or the bead cube maze, and a tiny human greeting - this goes a long way to making the rest of the visit pleasant for all.
Staff is gentle and cares
The staff and the technicians love children and it shows. The children feel this and like being talked to, not at. The technicians show the boys what the instruments look like and feel like. They demonstrate on stuffed animals. They SMILE, a lot - this goes a long way to making my children feel comfortable and safe.
Specialize in special-needs
When we were searching for a dentist, we searched for a pediatric dentist that serves special-needs children. And we found one. The whole staff works with my boy, making him feel safe and quiet and secure.
They let me stay with my child
There is room in the bay for the parents. I am encouraged to ask questions, hold his hand, and be a comfort to my child. This is really important to him and to I.
The Peninsula Pediatric Dentistry was a great choice for the family. We recommend them all the time. We have had Dr. Bobby Garofalis, Dr. Kari Cwiak, Dr. Richard Pugliese all see the children and we have heard wonderful things about Dr. Bullock, Dr. Bell, and Dr. Braxton. All offices are currently taking new patients (I checked!)
